- the diagnose was right broncho-pulmonary cancer; they made a few cycles of citotatics
- ten she did not made any treatment, any medical controls; it is to be mentioned that she has no school education, she do not understands her health condition
- after 5 years they appeared thoracic pains, sometimes abdominals too, cough with inconstant mucous expectoration, dispnea, strong asthenia, drowsiness
- she goes to another hospital in the opposite part of the country, where her daughter lives; investigations: thorax radiography, bronchoscopy with biopsy, abdominal echography, blood analysis
- with the diagnosis Broncho-pulmonary cancer. Acute respiratory insufficiency, she preferred to go out from the hospital, to make a natural treatment

BRONCHOSCOPY

- tumor infiltration of the bronchi, with cancerous aspect; the infiltration begins from the tracheal spur, and goes in the bronchi bilateral, with multiple stenosis of the bronchi; the most important stenosis is in the right middle lobar bronchus; this is the place of the biopsy

HISTOPATHOLOGY EXAMINATION

In June 24, 2004 :

Tumor with mushroom aspect. On the margins there is epidermoid metaplasia. The conjunctively axis is rich in fibro-conjunctively tissue, with small lympho-granulocytic infiltration. It is the aspect of a benign tumor, papilloma.

Because the result was contradictory to the bronchoscopy and to the anterior diagnosis of cancer, they made another histopathology examination of the same piece, in another laboratory.

June 29, 2004 – The new examination:

Fragment of respiratory mucosa, with regional scuamous mataplasia and papilomatouse thickening

Considering both histopathology examinations, we can conclude that the tumor was not cancerous, but benign, probably a papilloma with ramificated developening in the bronchi
